A collection of my latest work, spliced and proudly put together for this 2012 Showreel.
As a final year student, this is one of my final year projects in the diploma programme. We were required to develop and produce a short clip that features an array for film and visual effects skills – shooting footage and HDR image, tracking, preparing basic animation, lighting, particles, rendering as well as compositing – that was taught during the course of the semester.
One of my personal favourite ; low poly modeling of the Starwars All Terrain Armoured Transport, commonly known as AT-AT. As a child, the primary assault vehicle was my favourite, hence the inspiration for this project. This clip is the final showcase of my second assignment in 3D modeling and unlike some of my other projects, there were no textures involved.
Built and designed using Autodesk Maya, this low poly 3D modeling took less than 10 weeks to complete. The Japanese house required UV unwrapping, texturing, lighting and rendering.
One of the team projects in my first year, together with 10 classmates, we decided to collabrate with SPCA Singapore, all for a good cause and love for animals. We developed a short documentary to help the non-profit organisation to raise awareness of animal welfare and adoption.
In this project, I was both the Director as well Storyboard artist.
This is a video showcase of my final project for Lighting and Texturing module.
